MEET WITHALL’S WHAT TO SAY INITIATIVE
WithAll is a nonprofit on a mission to prevent eating disorders and support recovery.
WithAll was founded in 2007 as The Emily Program Foundation, a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to advancing education, outreach, and research around eating disorders. In 2019, The Emily Program Foundation changed its name to WithAll, marking a new focus on prioritizing eating disorder prevention, expanding recovery support, and offering simple resources that reach many people across the globe.
WithAll means no one is fighting an eating disorder alone or working to prevent them alone. That’s why WithAll launched What to Say, an eating disorder prevention and health-based community initiative.
WHAT TO SAY
WithAll launched What to Say in February of 2019. It’s a simple initiative with a big purpose: to help adults teach kids that health – not weight, appearance, or BMI – is important to a happy life.
What to Say is based on decades of research that repeatedly points to the incredible influence adults have on children’s body image, relationship with food, and overall physical and mental health. WithAll took this information and created What to Say, a simple initiative that gives adults basic information and simple, actionable guidance to protect the health and wellness of kids. We promise, it works. Here’s why.
What to Say starts with a quick, 30-second pledge to replace diet and weight talk that’s followed by unlimited access to free resources, giveaways, and more.
Our goal is to get 1 million pledge signers to help us change the world!
